Fresh headers omit patient fields. Inspect image pixels for embedded identifying text before sharing.
Brain Pixel is intended for research and educational visualization and is not a diagnostic medical device.
Explore MRI and CT volumes locally with linked 2D slices and a 3D surface view.
Choose Open imaging folder to scan nested folders and pick a volume, or import DICOM and NIfTI files directly. NIfTI-1/2 single files, paired .hdr/.img files, and individual frames from 4D images are supported. Uncompressed grayscale DICOM with regular geometry, including native multi-frame with explicit spacing, is supported. Compressed or Enhanced DICOM with per-frame geometry, irregular spacing, and gantry tilt need conversion in a dedicated DICOM tool.
Load a co-registered MRtrix .tck, TrackVis .trk, or ASCII VTK .vtk fiber bundle. For original DWI DICOM, use Reconstruct from DWI DICOM folder on the local server with MRtrix3 installed. The viewer loads the generated fibers over the matching b=0 image. Check diffusion gradients and review the result in dedicated software before interpretation; CT or T1 alone cannot generate tracts.
Scroll to change a slice. Click to link crosshairs. Drag with Window / level, Pan or Zoom selected. Ruler uses two clicks, and its marks also appear in 3D. Paint and Erase mark manual ROI in 2D and 3D; click the active tool again to stop. Drag the 3D view to rotate, use ⟳ to spin and ⛶ for full screen.
The sample is a procedural phantom, not a patient scan. Measurements, surfaces, and tract overlays are for exploration.
